For The Record
I'm gonna die soon. My heart tells me that. I have no fear. As a Buddhist, I know that there is life after life after life. We odd folk who preach "peace, love, dove" are stronger than anyone could believe possible. We live the good life, separated from the problems of society, and cloistered in knowing that we shall continue on. Any one of you who have ever witnessed the look of serenity on the face of HH, the Dali Lama, know what I am talking about.
Theravadean's believe that we never break the cycle of samsara. I for one, and as a Mahayanist, do not believe that their fear of reincarnation is founded in reason. They do not call it The Lesser Vehicle for nothing.
So. The old Coon is happy. Happy in the fact I have made my mark upon the world. I have had my 15 minutes of fame. I have lived a good life. I am supremely happy, and confident in a higher rebirth. What else is there?
Drive on...
